Frequently Asked Questions

The Estero is a semi-rimless, slightly sporty lifestyle sunglass from Sunski. It has a lighter, more open feel than a full-frame style, and sits in that useful space between a performance sports sunglass and an everyday lifestyle frame. It's a good choice for active outdoor living where you want polarized protection without the sporty-goggle look.

Polarized lenses with UV400 protection. The semi-rimless construction means the lower portion of the lens isn't framed, which gives the glasses a lighter, airier visual profile. The polarization cuts glare from water, snow, roads, and reflective surfaces.

The Baia is a full-frame wayfarer with more structure and a classic rectangular look. The Estero is semi-rimless with a lighter, more streamlined silhouette. The Baia reads as more classic and fashion-forward; the Estero reads as more active and casual. Both use the same polarized, sustainable lens and frame technology.

Yes. Sunski builds frames from recycled polycarbonate and runs a take-back program for old glasses. For outdoor consumers who pay attention to the materials behind their gear, Sunski is one of the more genuine entries in performance eyewear at an accessible price point.

The semi-rimless, slightly wider frame works well for oval and round face shapes. The open lower frame is flattering on faces where you don't want to add visual weight at the bottom of the frame. It also tends to work well for people who find full-frame styles heavy-looking.

It's a lifestyle and active-casual frame — not a wraparound sports sunglass. For easy to moderate trail days, hiking, or running in open conditions, it works well. For fast trail running or mountain biking where wind protection and a secure fit under compression are priorities, a dedicated sport frame with a rubber grip and wraparound design would be more appropriate.

Sunski sunglasses come with a soft bag that doubles as a lens cleaning cloth — handy for keeping the lenses scratch-free when they're not on your face.

Use the included cloth or a microfiber lens cloth with water. Avoid paper products and dry rubbing, which can scratch the lens coating. A gentle rinse under clean water is the easiest way to remove trail dust, salt, and sunscreen.

Sunski sits in the mid-range for polarized sunglasses. The polarized, UV400 lenses are the core value — cheap polarized glasses often have inconsistent lens quality that causes distortion. Sunski's lens quality is reliable, and the recycled frame materials and durability make them a solid value for everyday outdoor use.

Check directly with Sunski — the brand has offered replacement lenses for some styles. For the current replacement options on the Estero specifically, contacting Sunski's customer service is the fastest route.
