Frequently Asked Questions

A technically built hiking and outdoor pant for men from Peak Performance. Durable, weather-resistant construction with a thoughtful pocket system and enough stretch to handle real mountain movement. They sit in the practical zone between a lightweight trail pant and a rugged work pant — without looking like either extreme.

Polyester blend with DWR weather resistance, stretch for mobility, and reinforced stress points. Peak Performance builds pants at this level to handle multi-day use on trail — they're not one-season pieces.

Yes. The cargo pockets are designed for practical storage, large enough to hold a phone, map, snacks, or small gear items, and positioned to stay out of the way during movement. This isn't a decorative pocket layout.

Regular to slightly relaxed through the seat and thigh, with a clean taper toward the hem. Peak Performance men's outdoor pants are designed to move well without excess fabric bunching during hiking. Check the size guide for specific measurements — the fit is consistent across the range.

Water resistant, not fully waterproof. The DWR treatment handles light rain and moisture contact effectively. For heavy, sustained rain, a waterproof shell over the top is the right approach. For everything up to that point, the DWR is genuinely useful.

Yes. The clean construction and neutral palette make Peak Performance outdoor pants versatile enough for casual everyday wear. They don't look like hiking pants unless you're looking for it — which is part of the brand's design philosophy.

Yes. The durable, quick-drying fabric and practical pocket layout make them a solid travel pant for active trips. They pack lighter than heavy cotton pants and hold up to the kind of repeated wear that travel demands.

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Avoid high heat. Refresh DWR performance with low heat tumble drying when water stops beading on the surface, or apply a spray-on DWR product as needed.

The men's version is cut for male proportions. The materials, construction quality, and functionality are equivalent — the cut is the key difference.

Hikers, mountain travelers, and outdoor-active people who want pants that perform on trail and transition into everyday life without requiring a clothing change. Peak Performance's Scandinavian sensibility means these are clothes first, gear second — and they look it.
