Frequently Asked Questions

They're a mid-calf running sock from Feetures, a running-specific sock brand that built its reputation on anatomically targeted cushioning and seamless toe construction. The Elite Lt Cush MCrew sits in the middle of Feetures' cushioning range — enough padding for long training runs and everyday wear, without the bulk of a max-cushion sock.

Feetures designs each sock specifically for a left foot and a right foot — unlike most socks that are identical. The anatomical fit reduces bunching and movement inside the shoe, which in turn reduces blister risk. The iWick fibers used in Feetures socks manage moisture by moving sweat away from the foot consistently rather than absorbing and holding it.

Light cushioning is Feetures' middle ground between their High Performance (thinner, more minimalist) and Max Cushion options. The Elite Lt Cush has targeted padding in the heel and forefoot — enough for daily running and long training sessions, light enough not to change how a shoe fits.

MCrew stands for Mini Crew — a sock height that hits just above the ankle, offering slightly more coverage than a low-cut ankle sock but stopping well below the mid-calf. It's a comfortable, practical height for trail running, gym use, and casual wear.

Yes, for runners who've dealt with blisters, hot spots, or socks that bunch and shift during runs. The combination of seamless toe, iWick fiber, and anatomical left/right fit solves real problems that cheaper socks can't address. They're a reasonable investment for people who run regularly and want to protect their feet.

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Like most performance socks, avoid fabric softener — it coats the iWick fibers and reduces moisture management over time. They hold up well through heavy use when washed consistently with cold water.

The Elite Lt Cush MCrew works well for light to moderate hiking in trail shoes. For full-day hikes or rough terrain, a dedicated hiking sock with more robust cushioning and durability reinforcement (like the Darn Tough or Farm to Feet options we carry) may serve better. For the crossover between running and hiking that's common in Colorado, the Elite Lt Cush handles it fine.

Yes. Feetures socks are sized in small, medium, and large based on shoe size ranges.

Yes — this is actually one of the main reasons runners switch to Feetures. The seamless toe eliminates the ridge that causes friction at the toe box, the left/right anatomical fit prevents the sock from shifting during a run, and the iWick fibers keep moisture from building up. Blisters are usually caused by heat, friction, and moisture — the Elite Lt Cush addresses all three.

Yes. The comfortable fit, crew height, and soft fabric make them a reliable everyday sock beyond running. Many people use them as their go-to training sock across running, gym sessions, and casual use.
