Niseko 3.0 Low is an updated and, in many ways, improved version of its predecessor, Niseko 2.0 Low. This incredibly warm, incredibly durable, and incredibly lightweight snow boot will have you question everything you’ve ever worn (winter time) before. The strong EVA outer shell, in combination with the soft wool blend lining, makes this boot difficult to compete with in terms of both comfort and insulation. Design-wise, the boot has been inspired by traditional, northern Japanese fishing/road worker boots. In other words, although worn all year round by some people, this boot has been built for harsh, snowy weather conditions. With every pair of Niseko 3.0 Low follows a 2-layered removable insole.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Niseko 3.0 Low is the ankle-height version of FUBUKI's flagship winter boot. Same 100% waterproof EVA shell, same wool-blend lining, same lightweight construction — just cut lower at the shaft for a cleaner, more versatile silhouette. If the full Niseko feels like too much boot for how you move through winter, the Low is the answer.

The core construction is identical: EVA outer shell, wool-blend lining, cleated rubber sole, two-layer removable insole, full waterproofing. The difference is the shaft height. The standard Niseko 3.0 rises to mid-calf for added snow coverage and warmth; the Low stops at the ankle. That makes the Low a lighter, more agile feel underfoot — better for milder conditions or anyone who prefers a low-profile winter shoe aesthetic over a tall boot.

Close, but not identical. The lower shaft means less coverage around the ankle and lower leg, which can make a difference in deep snow or very cold temperatures. In moderate winter conditions — cold days without significant snowpack, slushy parking lots, mountain town use where you're not postholing — the Low delivers equivalent warmth. In serious cold or deep snow, the full Niseko 3.0 has the edge.

Yes. The Niseko 3.0 Low uses the same 100% waterproof EVA construction as the tall version. Snow, slush, puddles, and wet pavement aren't issues. The only caveat is that the lower shaft means less protection above the ankle — in deep snow, moisture can enter from the top in a way that the taller boot prevents.

100% EVA outer shell, approximately 50% wool / 50% polyester lining, ABS composite toecap, synthetic rubber cleated sole, and a two-layer removable insole. The construction mirrors the full Niseko 3.0 from the ankle down — nothing is downgraded to make the Low version.

Yes. Like the full Niseko 3.0, the Low runs true to size following FUBUKI's updates to the 3.0 generation, which resolved the small-running issue from earlier models. Order your normal shoe size. No need to size up for thick socks — the lining packs out slightly with use and accommodates your foot naturally. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing down.

The Niseko 3.0 Low is ideal for mild to moderate winter conditions: cold city streets, mountain town errands, après ski in dry or packed conditions, winter travel, and any situation where you want waterproof warmth without the visual weight of a tall boot. It also works well for shoulder seasons when the full Niseko can feel like overkill.

Better than the tall version for most everyday outfits. The ankle height works naturally with jeans, casual pants, and relaxed outdoor pants in a way that a mid-calf boot sometimes doesn't. FUBUKI's clean silhouette and distinctive color options make the Low a genuine style choice as well as a functional one.

The Niseko 3.0 Low is unisex and available in EU sizes 37 through 46, covering US women's 6 through 13 and US men's 4 through 13.

Anyone who wants the FUBUKI combination of warmth, waterproofing, and lightweight simplicity in a more versatile, everyday-friendly package. It's a natural choice for people who spend winter moving between indoor and outdoor environments — where a tall boot is occasionally too much but cold and wet ground is still a reality. The Low makes that trade-off well.
